External Examinations - Proctoring

Guidelines for External Exams Written at UPEI 2010-11

1. Accessibility Services requires a minimum of one week notice of a pending exam.

2. The cost of having one proctor administer a three-hour exam is $50 per student per exam.

3. The cost of changing an exam date or time and/or cancelling/no show is $25. This fee must be paid before the exam will be administered.

4. Exams will only be returned to the originating location upon payment for exam proctoring and return delivery charges are paid.  If the return fees are not prepaid by the institution, the examinee must cover the return delivery charges fees before the exam begins.

5. In the event of a UPEI storm closure, it is up to the examinee to contact the office to reschedule for another examination date. 

6. For exams from the same institution/organization who require accommodations for large groups with more than one proctor the rate will be as follows:

* 3 -10 students $ 250.00
* 11 - 20 students $300.00.
* 21 -30 students $350.00
* 30+ please contact the office to make arrangements.
