Peer Support Network
ACE is based on the philosophy of inclusion and encourages positive support from the University community. Peer support volunteers are a vital component to the success of the ACE Program. Volunteers choose to support students in one or more of the following areas: study, computer, in-class note-taking, fitness and/or extra-curricular activities. Peer volunteers work with an ACE student a minimum of one hour a week.
This provides an excellent opportunity for students to meet new people and gain new friendships. After each semester, volunteers are presented with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of their contribution as a peer.
