February 10, 1-3pm: Preparing a research dossier
Preparing your file for promotion or tenure? Nominated for a teaching award? Developing your file to reflect on your professional practice? The Faculty Development Office offers three workshops to lead you through the process of crafting your dossier. The first workshop explores what a teaching dossier is and what it can look like, as well as the required components of a dossier for the tenure and promotion process. The second workshop focuses on the statement of teaching philosophy; in this workshop you will begin to articulate (and draft) your own personal philosophy of teaching. The third workshop is led by Katherine Schultz, who discusses ways you can present your research for you tenure and promotion file.
The workshops are open to all, but registration is required. To register for one or all of the workshops, please email Krystal Mayne (kmayne@upei.ca) by January 24. For more information, contact Sue Dawson (sdawson@upei.ca, 566-0808).
