Pathways to Academic Success

Designed to help students who are academically struggling. The curriculum includes such topics as motivation, goal-setting, time management, study skills, and exam preparation.

If you are a university student - past, present or future , and not sure what program of study best suits you, Options is designed with you in mind.  This program will help you explore your academic history, work and personal interests thus allowing you to begin university the following semester with a well thought out plan and goal.

These free one hour sessions take place at 1pm Tues-Thursday in the Webster Centre and are designed to provide you with academic support outside of your normal classroom time on a variety of relevant topics.

The PAS Facilitators are available to meet with you to discuss your personal and academic needs. We can give you confidential guidance and assistance for your academic path or direct you to other resources found on campus.

Pathways to Academic Success (PAS), founded in 2008 continues to grow and develop offering responsive and personalized academic support to the UPEI community. This year I am thrilled to welcome Kathy Snow, PAS Facilitator to our team.  Kathy’s  passion and experience in program facilitation and online learning has already proven to be an asset as we continue to meet the needs of our students, both undergraduate and graduate.  Should you have any questions please stop by, or drop us an email, we’ll be happy to help.

The thought of school and even University was one I always found myself dreading.

I would highly recommend the Student Success Program to all students: students who need it, students who don’t, and students who have no idea either way. The structure of the class is fantastic, lots of variety, from group discussion and interaction to personal reflection to information given in the form of accessible lectures and guest presenters. Single handedly this class was responsible for turning my attitude around about school, getting me motivated, and giving me the tools to succeed in the goals I set for myself.
